Pro Features Not Available – ZenBlocks buttonBasic
Summary
When Pro features are not available, the cause is one of the following: **license not activated, plugin reactivation required, or stale cache**. Check your license status and follow the steps below to resolve the issue.

Cause
- **License not activated**: The License Key has not been entered and activated after purchase
- **Plugin reactivation required**: In some cases, the plugin needs to be deactivated and reactivated after obtaining a license
- **Browser cache remaining**: The editor state from before license activation is cached
- **License expired or deactivated**: The license has been invalidated due to cancellation or expiration
- **License in use on another site**: For single-site licenses, the license cannot be used on additional sites while in use elsewhere
Pro Feature Behavior
Pro features are controlled by feature flags. When the license is inactive:
– An **”Upgrade to Pro”** overlay appears on Pro settings panels in the editor
– Saved Pro settings values are **not deleted** (they remain available if you resubscribe)
– Frontend display immediately falls back to the Free version equivalent—
– **On cancellation or expiration**: At the moment the license is deactivated, frontend display immediately falls back to the Free version equivalent (no grace period).
– **On resubscription**: Saved Pro settings values are not deleted, so the same settings can be used as-is after resubscription.
