buttonBasic Supplementary Text Settings
Configure supplementary text elements that enhance your WordPress custom button with additional context, taglines, disclaimers, and category labels. These settings help improve click-through rates by providing supporting information around and inside the button.
Supplementary Text Types
Use the sub-pages below to configure each supplementary text element:
- Micro Copy — Displayed above and outside the button. The most feature-rich option with style presets, border, border radius, and background color/gradient. Ideal for taglines and value propositions.
- Sub Copy — Displayed below and outside the button. Suitable for disclaimers, terms, and conditional notes.
- Micro Text — Displayed inside the button, above the main text. Best for category labels and short classification info.
- Sub Text — Displayed inside the button, below the main text. Ideal for supplementary conditions like pricing or "Free first time."
Key Differences
- Only Micro Copy supports style presets, Border, Border Radius, and Background Color/Gradient
- Sub Copy, Micro Text, and Sub Text share the same settings: Text, Color, Font, Text Shadow, and Layout
- None of the supplementary text elements support hover state settings
